Six women strive to conquer Antarctica
with sledges pulled
they go out in style with their jackets and bras padded against the wind and
they haul their survival kits along the ice using brawn and muscle
forgoing the warmth of the fire at home and every day bustle
they cross Antartica without any
with just a camera for the film and photos
they stop for supplies along the route
whilst the army picks up the bill
they made a world record
that is great to hear through the ice and snow
when you complain in your country of snow
give the Ice Maidens a huge cheer!
